How does the text case converter work?
Paste or type your text in the input area, then click on the desired format. Conversion happens instantly in your browser with no data sent to external servers. It supports 13 different formats including uppercase, lowercase, Title Case, camelCase, snake_case and more.
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence Case?
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word (e.g., “My Example Text Here”). Sentence Case only capitalizes the first letter of each sentence (e.g., “My example text here”). Title Case is used for headings and titles, while Sentence Case is for regular text.
What are camelCase and PascalCase?
camelCase joins words without spaces, with the first letter lowercase and subsequent words capitalized (e.g., “myExampleText”). PascalCase is similar but with the first letter also capitalized (e.g., “MyExampleText”). They are used in programming: camelCase for variables and functions, PascalCase for classes and components.
What is snake_case used for?
snake_case separates words with underscores using all lowercase (e.g., “my_example_text”). It is widely used in Python, SQL databases, and configuration files. The variant CONSTANT_CASE (e.g., “MY_EXAMPLE_TEXT”) is used for constants in programming.
Does the converter work with all languages?
Yes, the converter supports any language with alphabetic characters, including accented characters (Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese). Upper/lowercase conversions respect Unicode rules for special characters.
Can I copy the result to clipboard?
Yes, each format has a “Copy” button that copies the converted text to your clipboard with a single click. You can also manually select and copy text from the output area.
